Vision Primary School's Annual Sports Event

Vision Primary School annual sports day was held for four days this year.

It was a very successful event that encouraged the values of sportsmanship among the students. We thank God taht everyone was able to enjoy themselves and learn more about sports of various discipline.

Congratulations to the Green House (Emerald) for winning the overall sports event this year!

Leadership Camp

The leadership camp this year was held at Tawau Hills Park. Selected students from Upper Primary joined the camp and had a wonderful time.

We thank God that the students were able to experience team building sessions and learn about leadership. We pray that they will be better prepared as they become future leaders with a firm foundation in God.

BC Day and Chinese New Year Celebration

Vision primary organized a full day event dedicated to the learning of Chinese language and culture. Two chinese calligraphy Shifu, Chong Lao Shi & Chin Lao Shi, were invited to guide students in the art.

A Chinese New Year celebration was also organized so that the students can have fun and experience chinese culture through the festival.

English Workshop - Making Reading Easy & Writing Fun

This workshop was held at Vision School Hall for all Primary 6 Students. A day of engaging learning experience.


Hap Seng Naga Awards 2013

The Hap Seng Naga Awards event was organized in accordance with the release of government examination (UPSR, PT3, SPM) results. We thank them for their generosity and the encouragement they gave to our high-achieving students.

Visitation from Canpotex, Canada

Hap Seng's partner company, Canpotex from Canada, was brought to Vision School for a short visitation.

Bishop John Yeo, along with a few board members and our principals graciously welcomed them and introduced every aspect of the school. The visitors from Canada toured around the school and learned about the vision and purpose of this school's existence.

We truly appreciate their presence and may God bless them!

Vision Night 2015

Vision Night is our annual thanksgiving & awards night held at the House Of Prayer. We thank God for the journey he's taken us throughout 2015 and the achievements graciously granted to us in all aspects.

Music Competition 2015

The Music Club organized this year's Music Competition as one of the post examination events. Students from various classes participated and show off their talent in music and singing.

Every class assembled their own team in participating our own English Drama Competition. We thank the organizers for making our drama competition a success and an enjoyable time for the students.

Sabbath Week 2015 - Life Game

For this year's Sabbath Week, our school invited Life Game Ministries to organize their "life game" for all students and teachers.

Under the leadership of Ps. Andrew Eng, the team of volunteers organized the event that touched the lives of many. Both students and teachers learnt about the realities of life; and how their decisions affect the people around them and how to deal with the consequences of their actions in life.

It was truly life changing for many people and we witnessed a positive change in the hearts of many of our students.

We would like to thank Ps Andrew Eng and the Life Game Ministries for coming all the way to our school and organize this event for us.

Intelligence Camp 2015

This year's Intelligence Camp was nothing short of a success as it witnessed the participation of children from all over Sabah.

Themed "I Am Smart", the children were exposed to various indoor and outdoor activities, and learning experiences that, one way or another, sparked their interest and passion for learning.

We would like to thank the organizing comittee for their hard work and effort in making this camp a success. We would also like to thank parents who sent their children to the camp.

We believe it was a life changing experience for both the organizers and participants.

Love Tawau Project 2015

The Love Tawau Project is an event organized by the school to get students involved in community service. We thank God for another opportunity to make a difference in the town of Tawau and in the hearts of the students and the community.

We pray that the seed of social responsibility that is sown in the hearts of the students will continue to grow.

National Month Poster Drawing Competition 2015

After a week of tests and exams, Vision Secondary organised a small event for the students in conjunction of our country's upcoming Independence Day (31st Aug). It was held during the usual "boarding hour" as part of a post-test activity.

This event was held to usher in the National Month as well as to rekindle the spirit of patriotism among the students. Students were asked to capture the theme of our country's 58th Anniversary of Independence, "Sehati Sejiwa" - One Heart One Soul, into their posters.

We would like to thank the organizing committee for making this event possible as well as the students for participating.

Trilingual Public Speaking Competition 2015

This year, Vision School decided to organize it's very first trilingual public speaking competition (Malay, English, & Mandarin).

This competition was organized to promote expression of ideas as well as to encourage the development of oral communication among students.

19 students participated with hopes of demonstrating their proficiency in public speaking and contend for the title of Champion. And their performances were judged by a panel of our very own teachers.

The champion & best speaker for each language category were:-

(English) Nixon Chu Yong Juin - Champion & Best Speaker
(Mandarin) Tan Pui Synn - Champion
(Mandarin) Chang Ya Wen - Best Speaker

We would like to thank the organizing committee (led by Mdm. Michelle Chok) for making this event possible as well as the student and teachers who came to support the event and the contestants.

Bible Knowledge 15 Quiz - SM All Saints, Kota Kinabalu

The first Sabah Regional SPM Bible Knowledge Oral Quiz & BK15 Quiz was held at SM All Saints, Kota Kinabalu.

Chung Ngin Chyi, represented Vision Secondary School in the BK15 Quiz and became champion.

Habitat For Humanity - Kg. Sarupang Kolopis, Penampang

This year's Habitat for Humanity Programme was held at Kg. Sarupang Kolopis, Penampang. The form 4 students participated in this program and performed a great deal of community service.

The main aim of this year's Habitat Program was to help the victims affected by the earthquake that happened on 5 June 2015. The students essentially assisted by rebuilding the houses for the poorer victims in Kg. Sarupang.

We thank God for using our students to make a difference in the name of Christ.

Student Exchange Program to Korea

After their visit in January, Okgwa Highschool invited for a visit to Korea. Vision School's contingent, led by Vision International's principal (Miss Jenny Sieh), visited them in early June.

Throughout the whole trip, they were exposed to the rich culture of Korean lifestyle, food, industry, and pottery. It was an unforgetable experience especially due to the wonderful hospitality by Okgwa Highschool.

We thank God for the wonderful partnership with Okgwa Highschool. And we pray that the relationship between Okgwa Highschool and Vision School continue to grow in the years to come.

Outward Bound Sabah - Kinarut, Papar

This year's OBS Program, participated by our Form 3 Students, was held at Kinarut, Papar.

It is essentially a leadership camp to prepare them as they move on to become the senior students of Vision Secondary School. We thank God that the event was successful this year and we pray that the students are prepared to be role models to younger students as they move on to Form 4.

Results for the 2014 SPM examination are out and once again. We praise God for our maintaning our excellent 100% pass rate for another year!

Vision Secondary School's Annual Sports Event

Vision Secondary School annual sports day was held for three days this year. It was altogether a very successful event that encouraged the values of sportsmanship among the students.

After the event, a few notable athletes from various disciplines were selected to represent the school for the MSSDT sports event which was held at the Tawau Sports Complex this year.

English Day - Connecting Cultures

English Day this year, themed "Connecting Cultures", was celebrated with respect for our foreign exchange students from Korea.

While emphasizing the importance of english as well as encouraging the use of english, this event also allowed the students to experience and learn about various cultures from around the world.

Foreign Students Exchange Program from Korea

A group of students and teachers from Okgwa High School, Korea visited the Vision School for a period of 9 days in accordance with the foreign student exchange programme between the two schools.

The guests were given the opportunity to experience the malaysian school life while sharing their personal experiences and culture. Both schools also signed a Memorandum of Understanding to bolster future relations and encourage the sharing of knowledge and experience between them.
